|Delta Force Angel Falls close to alpha stage
After several years of waitng for this game,
it appears they have gotten close to Alpha Stage.
And are taking applications for Alpha Testing.
I have really enjoyed playing
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, Team Sabre for many years,
and still play from time to time.
it was the game got me started.
I have the Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Team Sabre Platinum Pack,
as well as the Delta Force: 10th Anniversary Collection,
which contains all 6 Delta Force games,
and the Black Hawk Down Soundtrack, as well as game strategey guides.
I'm looking forward to Delta Force: Angel Falls
|Wow - 247% GPU Usage on my GTX285 in EVGA precision battlefied 3
I was loading up a COOP mission on Battlefield 3, and noticed my GPU was at 247%. I hope this is a glitch.

|Dual Internet Connection Test to combine 2 internet connections into 1
I was brainstorming tonight about how to combine our 2 broadband cable internet connections into 1 using 2 cable modems. 1 connection is for the webserver, the other is for our Home Wi-Fi internet.
After reading alot of information it came to my attention that this would be pointless due to load balancing on the ISP's Servers.
So I ran some tests to find out what our speed would be while using 1 internet connection at a time, and also using both internet connections simultaneously. Below is the data from using Speedtest.net
Business Internet Connection Simultaneous test
Home Internet Connection Simultaneous Test
Business Connection Seperate Test
Home Connection Seperate Test
As you can see, the upload speed remains the same, While the download speed balances while testing simulataneously. the business connection's speed is almost half that of the seperate test. Just as I read the download speed will max out. So it appears the Home connection will use bandwidth from the Business connection on downloads. IDK.
Keeping in mind that the upload speed is crucial to the webserver, not so much the download speed.
So now I wonder if even having 2 connections is worth the extra money, the whole point is so the Webserver can opperate without our gaming and downloading interupting it.
|Windows 8 Developer Preview 64-Bit
It looks like the start menu is now like a desktop of icons
It reminds me of the Old Windows 3.1 from before Windows 95,
I also noticed that the download dialog has a graph,
and lots of other information.
Sor far it is not to different from Windows 7, as far as usability goes, but there seems to be alot of new features. Granted this is only a Developer Preview, not a BETA by any means.

Right after splash, before logging into Windows 8/Windows live
Start Menu, this is not the desktop.
When hovering over the start button, this menu will appear
Windows 8 default desktop
Shutting down Windows 8 from the settings dialog.
